It was another great weekend. Pretty calm and just fun, for the most part. Oh, I know I didn’t blog much last week, but I didn’t have a whole lot of spare time. I’ll try and do better this week. No promises, but I will try.

So back to the weekend. I’m tired. So tired, in fact, that I overslept again. I mean it’s not like I stayed up late or anything. In fact we were laying down after dinner and I fell asleep on my couch. I snored, which is very attractive. It’s especially attractive when you fall asleep on someones chest. Very nice.

Friday was pretty laid back, but I loved it. Dinner at Glorias, Super Target, and a movie. Pretty simple, but sometimes simple seems to be the way to go. Saturday I took my friend Switch over to my mom and dad’s house to do my mom and sister’s hair. She’s so fantastic. We got back to my apartment and she did my hair and make up for my night out. I was glad to look good, though, because it seems as thought everyone I’ve ever known was out that night.

It was one of those nights where I had to be “on” as soon as I walked through the door. I went in the bathroom to blow my nose and in walks my ex and the new new love interest. It was fine, but I was caught off guard for some reason. Then I went across the street to use the restroom and I close the stall door and I hear people talking about me. It’s kind of weird using the bathroom while a convo about you is happening outside. Every second after that seemed to be like bam, bam, bam. It was a great night, though. We went out to celebrate Jen getting her new job and getting pulled over but only getting a warning. That makes for a pretty big day.

Sunday was a lazy day. Sorof. Lazy to me is staying home instead of going to watch football or whatever. We winterized the boat, did laundry, put up the Christmas Tree, made chicken and veggies on the grill…all kinds of stuff. Jen, Keith, and I just hung out and it was great. It was great enough to flat out make me exhausted and fall asleep on my couch.

I’m hoping it’s going to be a fantastic week. I slept late again this morning, but that just means I’ve gotten “that day” out of the way for the week. At least that’s what I’m hoping.
