Pretty good
December 5, 2007 at 5:08 pm | In Uncategorized | 8 CommentsKeith, Jen and I set up our Christmas tree over the weekend. I wanted it up thinking that it might help get me into the spirit, but it’s not working. I haven’t bought a single gift yet. Maybe that’s what I need to do. It’s warm outside. I shouldn’t be wearing shorts two weeks shy of Christmas. But I am. And the thing that I want the most is something I’m buying myself. My sister and I are getting matching tattoos. I’m excited because I love my little sister and she’s been wanting to do this for a while, and now I’m excited, too. This is the first holiday season I’ve been single, so I don’t really know what to do with that.
My dog Oprah likes to eat the pine cones off of this fancy fake pre-lit tree. And my cat Brody hangs upside down from the cheap limbs. This is probably going to be the last year of this particular tree, but I’m OK with that. I’ve had it since I was with Chris, so it’s seen better days. Anyway, that’s that.
On the upside I did buy a new Camo cover for my boat. The one they gave me when I bought the boat last February molded and started messing up my upholstery and I just paid a lot of money…or put a lot of charges on a credit card…getting it redone. At least the back seat and the engine cover. I didn’t have the money to get all of it done and I’d like to get rid of this boat and buy a new one before I dump a lot of money into it when I don’t want to. It’s going to be a while before I can do that, though. First I have to get my head back on straight.
See, I have this problem forgetting to pay a couple of bills. My home phone bill has always been an issue and it’s not getting better. Then there’s the American Express bill. I used to pride myself on being an Amex holder, but now I can’t do that anymore because I forgot to pay my bill and they cancelled the card. I don’t not pay it on purpose. I honestly just forget. I guess they don’t care why I didn’t pay it because they cancelled the account. Ouch. I’ll get it back, I’m sure. But for now…OUCH! And as soon as I’m done with this I’m gonna log on and pay my home phone bill.
It’s been a pretty good few days. I’m tired from that whole not sleeping thing, but I’m good. My sister and I are supposed to pick out our tattoos today. We will get them this weekend. I’ll either get one on my left wrist where I can wear a watch over it, below my belly button, or on my left side. Not sure which yet. I want it on the wrist, but I just can’t convince myself to do it. I’ll let you know what and where we decide.

I say get it on your wrist, I just had one done in the end of October and I love it. It’s neat that you can look at it anytime you want and still cover it up if needed. My oldest daughter & I got matching tattoos in March, we designed them. I think it’s a great idea! Go For It!!

Wrist, my sister and I had one done the day after Thanksgiving on our left wrist, we had our daughters name tattooed, we had them sign their name and they tattooed their signature. Take 4 Advil 30 minutes before, to help take the edge off the PAIN!

What kind of boat do you have? Let me know when you start shopping for your new one…I work for Tige Boats, Inc – the most advanced Inboard on the market. I know how you can get in the hoiday spirit! Does your Wal-Mart do the Old people angel tree thing? Mine does, and I like to get a different angel everytime I go b/c they only ask for one thing, like a Robe, or a phone card…cute old people, this makes me feel holiday-ish. Love your show – Holly
