Happy tongue

First of all I will express my sincere discontent in my heart immediately after reading that Showtime just renewed the L Word for it’s 6th and FINAL SEASON!?! Really? Why would they end it? I know it’s so cliché but this show brings me joy. I look forward to watching it and I get in a funk when I miss it. I have learned to Season Pass it on my TIVO to make sure that doesn’t happen anymore. But, just a notice to all of my people, they are taking it away from us. I will protest if Bette and Tina don’t get together. I will not be happy if Max is still around because I don’t really see much point to that character. If Adelle doesn’t reveal her psycho ways and do something worthwhile, I will not be happy. Why do they have to take it away from us? We don’t ask for a lot in this world…it really does make me sad.
I went to the store yesterday in search of Chicken in a Biscuits and I couldn’t find them. When Kellie brought these to work last week I put one in my mouth and felt a sense of euphoria that food does not give me. Not even refried beans when it’s that time of the month make me feel this way. So I dropped my dog Oprah off at my mom’s because I’m scared to leave her in my car because she’s not that bright and someone might poison her or something if she’s in my car with the window down and won’t stop barking at them. But then she spilled a big bucket of rain water in the dirt and rolled it. She was covered in mud. Not just a little bit of mud on her feet…I mean COVERED. I think my car is in dire need of a good detailing at this point. On Sunday there was a little bit of Sprite spilled all over the middle part of the back seat. No big deal. But the large clumps of mud on my windows and doors and on the mats is a little much. I had to take her home and bathe her which was a nightmare. You would think I was beating her or something. She curls up in a ball and has the saddest puppy face and I was waiting for her to pee in my tub. She didn’t, but I felt so bad. I should’ve been a nice mom and let her jump on my bed covered in mud. Maybe next time. Back to how this started…someone brought Chicken in a Biscuits to the studio for me. And Easy Cheese! And they brought an extra box and squirt bottle of cheese! Thanks so much! My brain is happy about that and my tongue is even happier.
Speakin of my tongue…I’ve been so lazy this week. I’ve not worked out or anything. I’ve slimmed down and toned up and now I have to maintain. We will be in Mexico in May so I have to get motivated again. Stuffing my face with Chicken in a Biscuits and EZ Cheese isn’t helping me any. But they are so good and my taste buds love them so. Maybe if I quit talking about them I will quit craving them.

Happy tounge, huh? I’m jealous. Only playing. Guess I shouldn’t say stuff like that.haha Really though, I totally get the whole L Word ending. I’m sooo sad too. I will miss it way more than I miss Sex and the City. So I’m pretty sure we’ll see the true Adelle this sunday. I can’t say I want to see it cuz I’ll probably want to kick her ass. I love Jenny and Nikki together. They look sooo great together although I’m not sure that much hottness will be a forever thing. Besides you see the way Nikki was checking out Shane in the shower?haha I would imagine that Tina and Bette will so get back together. That would just suck if they end the show with them apart cuz if two people belong together it’s them.:) Anyways, no one around here watches the show so it’s cool to yap about it to someone. Take it easy and hey relax with the working out, you didn’t need to start with.

Amen! Craig gets on my nerves SOOO much. He speaks “types” with his foot in his mouth 24/7. PLEASE FIND A WAY TO BLOCK HIM! Shanon, you are a great person. Please don’t let the negative comments from jerks get you down. Also, the Chicken in a Biscuit segment made me so crave them. I’m sure that is why you couldn’t find them on the shelves. I seriously started to go to the store right then, but didn’t want to miss “the show”. Stay strong!

Wow! I can’t believe they are getting rid of one of my few favorite shows!! Where else will I get to watch two hotties Turkish Oil Wrestle… hmm,, I might just have to start my own at one of the local bars… and some of the ladies in town are soooo much hotter than any on the L-Word…. food for thought Sue’s and Crush!!! I’m down!!

I’ll be super bummed when the show’s gone. Its one of the few that I actually plan to sit down and watch the first time it airs, even though I’ve got all the showtimes and they rerun it a million times during the week.
I wasn’t really for Bette and Tina to get back together for a long time because of where they were in their own lives, but now, I think it might work. They are where they are suppose to be. Still feel bad for Jodie though.
This season has been really good, except for the whole Dawn and her lover Cindy crap. I thought it would be good when I read about it, but no, no. They just need to get smacked and then written off the show.

Dollar General usually has the original Chicken in a Biscuit, but we get ours at Walmart. They disappeared for years (I ate them as a kid, 40 yrs ago) but about 5 years ago, they suddenly appeared again.
Also if you are ever looking for “disappeared” candy or food, check vermontcountrystore.com, or do a Google search. People specialize in this sort of thing

Will my card get revoked if I say I have never once seen an episode of the L Word? Hey!! At least when I buy the ENTIRE series it will totally be new to me and I won’t have to wait till next week to find out what happens, lmao. Have to look at the bright side right? I am not going to comment on the tongue thing, lol, but I do have one. That thought alone should at least allow me an extension on the card, lmao
I remember the Chicken in a Biscuit from when I was younger (really younger.lol) and I recently tried Triscuits and OMG, I so don’t remember the pound of salt they had on them. I can imagine what those taste like now, lol.

I was also very upset to hear that season 6 would be the last season…and it will only return with 8 episodes instead of the normal 12. I have been a very, very, very faithful watcher of the L Word and, like you, I am very sad that it’s only returning for one more season.
I just hope season 6 goes out with a bang!!! I want to remember it and feel satisfied with how the show ends. Wow! The end of the L Word…so final…
